About one half of the funds we require
each year come from the endowment
established by Mr. Miller's will, the
remainder is sought from gifts through
the community. Having your support
allows Miller Home to provide Services
for children and their families based on
their income and ability to pay. There
are many \ways you may chose to assist
us.
Memorial of Honor Gifts
Remember us for memoiral or honorary
gifts in memory or honor of a relative
or friend. This showsyour love and
sympathy and is promptly
acknowledged to botht you and the
family or friend you memorialize or
honor.
A Gift of Stock
If you have stocks that have grown in
value, you can give that stock to Miller
Home, take a deduction from its current
value and avoid paying capital gains
taxes.
A Gift of Life Insurance
By transferring wonership of a no-
longer needed life insurance policy to
Miller Home, you can claim a tax
deducation for the cash value of the
plicy and remove the eventual policy
prceeds from your estate for tax
purposes.
A Simple Bequest
With a simple amendment (codicil) to
your will, you can designate a certain
amount or percentage of your estate to
Miller Home, either as a primary
Beneficiary, or as a contingent
beneficiary after you havve provided for
others.
A Charitable Remainder Trust
A trust can dbe designed to pay its
income to certain individuals (yourself
your spourse, etc) during their lifetimes,
after which the trust assets are paid
over to Miller Home.
